Yanshui Beehive Rockets

The custom of Yanshui Beehive Rockets derives from the story of Sage Emperor Guan driving out the plagues at the end of the 19th century. With the economic and technological improvements of the past 100 years, the firecrackers that people set off in this event have also gone through many changes. In contrast to the earliest barrage style, today's modern rocket forts not only have various designs in appearances and ranges of fire, but also present different amazing patterns after being set off in the sky. As a result, for many people nowadays, Yanshui equals beehive rockets and beehive rockets represent Yanshui. This unique folk event has also become one of the key elements to revitalize Yanshui.
